Director of Multiple Sclerosis and Autoimmune Neurology

It is my pleasure to extend a warm welcome to our upcoming conference
“Challenges in Multiple Sclerosis and Autoimmune Neurology (CIMSAN)” to be held on January 27, 2024, at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi (CCAD), UAE. Registration is free.
CIMSAN is a one-day case-based conference, where experienced neurologists share cases where they made mistakes, learned lessons and changed practice. These may include challenging cases, controversial decision-making, incorrect diagnosis or management, or cases that make for friendly yet robust debates. We believe sharing these will help others avoid such errors. Over the course of the day, you will listen to 12 speakers talk about 25 unusual cases that even the experts struggled with and the lessons they learned. Confirmed speakers include Prof Brian Weinshenker (formerly of Mayo Clinic, USA), Alasdair Coles (Cambridge, UK), Desmond Kidd (Royal Free Hospital, London, UK), and Robert Fox ( Cleveland Clinic Ohio, USA).
There will be a conference dinner on 27th January where you can mingle with the experts.
CIMSAN is an in-person conference and restricted to 100 participants from UAE and MENA. CIMSAN is not sponsored by pharma. It’s supported by an educational grant from the Salama Bint Hamdan Foundation.
I hope to see many of you there.
The event aims to equip participants with the knowledge needed to navigate challenging atypical cases in autoimmune neurology, including difficult diagnosis controversial decision making, management and complications to make informed and effective decisions in clinical practice.
